A great opportunity for a Networking ICT Manager in an 18-month contract at a competitive hourly rate has come available with a large Government Department.
They offer hybrid work options min 3 days in the office and are based in Brisbane CBD.If you have experience managing projects and highly skilled technical resources you will enjoy this role where you will deliver ICT services across the state.
An integral part of the project will handle the major uplift of the organisation's network services, including broadband upgrades, new web filtering services, associated solutions, and digital enablement ensuring a safe and secure context for all users.
You will be reporting to the Director, ICT Infrastructure Services, your role will run through to 2/6/2024 and offers a competitive hourly rate.
Position Overview
- Ensure that network services and projects are delivered on time and on budget.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of plans, strategies, and procedures relating to telecommunications and networks.
- Provide leadership and direction to operational teams on information management policies and issues and change management initiatives.
- Act independently, within guidelines approved by the Director, on all daytoday matters for the delivery of communication and IT services.
Skills and Qualifications
- Extensive experience in the Information Technology field with proven ability to provide strategic and policy advice, and to develop and implement strategies and operational policies for IT management services.
- Experience in providing technical leadership for the implementation of enterprisewide infrastructure solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to a cohesive management team and gain commitment and motivation from staff, and proven experience in highlevel management skills.
- Highlevel analytical skills and proven ability to propose costeffective and creative solutions.
- Proven highlevel negotiation, consultative, interpersonal, and written communication skills including the ability to influence without power.
