About the role:

This is a unique permanent opportunity to work on multiple concurrent projects within the external identity and access management space. This includes an Identity Platform Replacement project as Suncorp moves from Oracle to ForgeRock. The project is expected to run for several years and provides the chance for you to build on your Identity systems knowledge, learning more about ForgeRock (a new and progressive system).

To succeed in this role, you will have strong Technical BA skills (minimum 4 years'), be able to work both autonomously and collaboratively and enjoy working in a close-knit team to share knowledge and learn new skills/systems. You will be involved in determining the requirements for such things as brand onboarding, data transformation/migrations, uplifting the platform's IAM service offering and reporting. You will facilitate workshops and design sessions. It is anticipated that over time you will become the Subject Matter Expert on ForgeRock.

You will have the opportunity to join our large Analysis Chapter that supports a variety of medium to large scale programs across the Suncorp Group. The Chapter consists of around 200 like-minded analysts, where ideas and best practice are shared via masterclasses and knowledge sharing. You will support projects being delivered in a continuous delivery model (Agile) as well as initiatives using traditional project delivery models.

What you'll do:

• Build strong relationships through engagement with colleagues, stakeholders, Partners, Vendors and other key stakeholders across all stages of the identity lifecycle management.
• Play a key role in the development of functional documentation, facilitating the management of changes if required, support of testing initiatives and the resolution of problems as they emerge.
• Validate and ensure that Solution deliverables meet business needs.
• Use information gathering techniques to proactively discover requirements and synthesise information accurately, completely, and coherently.
• Work collaboratively with delivery teams and business stakeholders to gather, validate and document functional and non-functional requirements and develop recommendations and solutions that meet business and customer needs.
• Raise and support mitigation and resolution of risks and issues using established tools and frameworks where applicable.
• Create detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to support delivery.
• Work close with squad / project members, including but not limited to Delivery lead, Scrum Master, Developers, Tech Leads, and Business stakeholders to identify, capture, plan and deliver the scope of work.
• Mentor/train team members; participate and contribute to Business Analysis Chapter and/or forums providing insights and thought leadership.
• Suncorp offers a hybrid way of working where you will be expected to be in the office approx. 2 days per week.

What you'll bring:

• ESSENTIAL: Minimum 5 years' business analysis experience in a project/delivery orientated role with a strong focus on technology; from a large organisation
• Experience working on Identity and Access Management systems would be highly regarded; knowledge of ForgeRock would be advantageous but is not essential
• Understanding of large and complex highly integrated environments (Cloud and on Prem).
• Understanding of SSO concepts such as WNA, SAML, LDAP, OAUTH, OpenID is desirable.
• Minimum 3 years' Agile, Lean and waterfall experience including knowledge of Agile practices, workshops, and Agile ceremonies facilitation
• Must be able to translate and understand business and technical requirements and provide appropriate alternatives and solutions to meet those requirements.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management and influencing skills including experience in dealing with various levels of stakeholders internally and externally.
• Advanced facilitation and workshop skills
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
• Strong team player with a positive attitude, willingness to learn and desire to make a difference
• Must be able to manage multiple complex initiatives with competing deadlines, while also working autonomously.
