Job Description:
The main focus of the Marketing Manager will be to assist in developing innovative ideas to cater to the corporate, conference and inbound market segments that are the hotel's client base.
- Develop, proactively manage and implement the annual hotel marketing and PR plan to include media relations, social media, internal communications, eCommerce, brand recognition and loyalty marketing within budget guidelines,
- Manage the roll out and execution of all marketing, media and PR initiatives, whether local, regional or global, across all available channels to support the hotel in meeting their targets,
- Brand Champion ensuring compliance with brand standards in all activity and ensure hotel is engaged in corporate and brand initiatives in marketing and PR,
- Seek to grow social media followers and to enhance interaction with customers on these sites using relevant tools and techniques,
- Manage internal communications in the hotel and take responsibility for updating any local stories, awards and sponsorship events to promote locally, regionally and globally.
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a luxury hotel environment in a similar or related role
- Excellent communication skills written & verbal, proficient in Word, Outlook and Excel and any other appropriate programs
- Proven experience working with senior management and multiple stakeholders
- The ability to work well within a team environment
- Attention to detail in all allocated tasks
- Be able to work autonomously and in collaboration with the Director of Commercial
- Be able to manage time according to maximise time spent in the Marketing department to ensure that allocated tasks are executed and communicated efficiently and effectively according to hotel deadlines
