Reporting to the Head of Marketing - Product & PR - Pacific you will be responsible for developing and managing annual brand strategies and budgets for the Pacific region.

Effectively and dynamically managing, developing and overseeing all brand marketing material for advertising, promotions and other activities to ultimately engage customers and drive sales.


Further to the above you will manage relationships and develop activities with all sponsorship partners to drive brand consideration and engagement.

You will also work closely with Product, CRM, SEM, Digital and Operational teams to deliver omni-channel communications. Finally, your will also be responsible for managing and developing the Marketing Executive.


Key accountabilities:


  • Prepare and manage annual marketing plan and budgets in conjunction with the Head of Marketing, delivering appropriately for each country.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing activity and evaluate results to optimise performance.
  • Manage day to day relationships with Creative, Media and PR Agencies in conjunction with Marketing Executive
  • Manage Customer Research requirements in conjunction with the Head of Marketing, Product & PR
  • Support key partner relationships and maximise revenue opportunities.
  • Work with digital teams on the development, promotion and performance of online booking channels
  • Work closely with overseas ABG marketing colleagues to maximise inbound/global revenue opportunities.
  • Develop the social media strategy and plans in conjunction with Marketing Executive
  • In conjunction with the Digital team, bring new and innovative products and programs to market that raise customer engagement, brand awareness and sales.
  • Develop and coordinate local marketing initiatives and assist in the development of assets for Franchise and Corporate locations.
  • Support the Corporate Sales team with appropriate marketing collateral, merchandise and event support.
  • Support the Operations Team and Franchise Network with appropriate marketing materials or advise on enhancing the customer journey in store.
  • Manage Sponsorship partnership strategies and implementation across AU/NZ
  • Work with CRM Manager to develop and implement loyalty strategy increasing customer engagement.
  • Preparation of internal communications relating to marketing activity
  • Provide monthly marketing reporting.
  • Oversee the management of the DAM (Internal Digital Asset Management Platform)
  • Lead crossfunction projects across the wider business as required.
  • Other duties/opportunities as they arise.

What we're looking for


A tertiary degree (or equivalent) preferably in Marketing or Business with proven experience in marketing management with financial and numeric reason skills is essential for this position.

As is prior experience in Brand Management, Digital and Brand Marketing (understanding of digital channels including SEO, SEM and CRM will be advantageous) and proved ability to develop and manage teams.

Success in achieving short
- and long-term marketing objectives with a results-oriented approach as well as experience dealing with key business partners at a senior level, including agencies is also required.

Ability to work effectively across a very broad range of internal and external staff and build strong relationships.

You will need this for negotiation, planning, problem solving, organising multiple tasks simultaneously and confidently presenting details to a C-Suite audience.
