About the Traineeship
We are looking for ambitious and motivated individuals to join Sunshine Coast Council's Traineeship Program.
This is a rewarding opportunity where you will gain a certificate level qualification combined with valuable work experience and a supportive and dynamic work environment to develop your skills
As one of our Trainees, you will be exposed to a wide range of areas within our organisation and the services that we deliver to our vibrant community.
About the Role
As the Creative Arts & Events Trainee, you will gain experience and exposure to:
- Undertaking and completing the Certificate III in Business qualification and participating in both on and off the job training, as outlined in the Certificate III in Business training plan.
- Provide administrative assistance including but not limited to diary management, word processing, data entry, record management and ongoing communication to staff members and community members.
- Assist the team by contributing to administrative projects, activities and other support tasks as assigned from time to time.
- Operate and maintain office equipment associated with the position, including telephones, photocopier, printer and facsimile.

- Aged 15 years or older and no longer at school
- Able to meet citizen, residency and visa requirements to undertake a traineeship.

Our Traineeship program are entry-level positions that have been developed for people with limited work experience and limited qualifications.
