As the Regional Manager, you are responsible for managing a team and overseeing the provision of high-quality employment services to a wide range of job seekers including people with disabilities.

More specifically, you will oversee the 360-degree process of delivery across a range of services. This process includes case management of job seekers, employment preparation (including job search training, employer engagement regarding workforce development and vacancies, work experience opportunities, reverse marketing of individual job seekers, coordination of work experience placements, post placement support and ongoing support.

You will develop relationships of trust clients, in particular employers and business owners, and to identify new business opportunities.

Description

  • Overseeing a team of 6 performing a range of tasks aimed at ensuring that targets and (KPls) for Disability Employment Services and other relevant programs are met.
  • Monitoring, coordinating and ensuring that all available service fee and outcome claims in Disability Employment Services are made in a timely fashion
  • Providing the senior management team with feedback regarding operations and/or issues that impact on the employee's relevant area of responsibility.
  • Opening new doors with employers and explaining the service offering in the hope of securing job prospects for the disabled and others finding challenges with employment
  • Ensuring the delivery of employment services with safety and well being at the centre of thought, values and actions.
  • Ensuring all KPIs are met in accordance with obtaining government funding for the program

Profile

  • Demonstrated understanding of Disability Employment Services and other government employment service programs
  • Ability to business develop, network and maintain longterm working relationships with a range of businesses.
  • Empathy for the unemployed and ability to work with a diverse range of clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet targets and achieve outcomes for clients.
  • Demonstrated skills, including initiative, communication, team work, use of technology, problem solving, planning and learning.
  • Current drivers licence.
  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of a range of employment and/or training services, including case management experience.
  • Employment experience across disability would be an advantage but not essential
  • A recruitment background coupled with a passion for assisting the disability community would be acceptable
  • Local labour market knowledge and welldeveloped local networks.
