The Federal Government Department has an ongoing inquiry for a Business Relationship Manager to Support the Department in Canberra.
The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) will be part of a multidisciplinary team working as a partner to Australian Government agencies and Industry to take up the Department's Protect Package in support of the CESAR Plus Program and REDSPICE.
The BRM will be responsible for frontline stakeholder engagement and consultation activities to achieve the outcomes and responsibilities will include:
- Engagement of Chief Information Security Officers (CISO's), Information Technology Security Adviser (ITSA's) and technical specialists of eligible entities in relation to the department products and services, leading to successful engagement and signed agreements;
- Building and maintain a pipeline of engagement interactions with target agencies, aligned to the department's priorities;
- Capturing issues, concerns, objections or resistance associated with engagement or take up of the department products;
- Escalating appropriately if additional highlevel engagement is required to overcome inertia;
- Participating in the departmentbranded initiatives such as CISO forums and discuss the department products;
- Informing the tailoring of the department initiatives, products, services and engagement material to achieve take up; and
- Maintaining a range of metrics associated with engagement activity to report to internal governance boards on a monthly basis.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience developing and using stakeholder engagement strategies to build productive relationships and networks within Australian Government agencies and industry.
- Experience leading effective engagement activities with Australian Government stakeholders in order to achieve WoAG ICT program outcomes. (NB This experience should include large group engagements at the senior leadership level).
- Working experience using best practice customer relationship management practices to communicate effectively and consistently with a wide range of stakeholders. (NB This experience should include the administration of customer and engagement details across a range of internal stakeholders and systems).
- Experience identifying, recording and communicating relevant engagement metrics for internal stakeholders. (NB This experience should include developing and maintaining reporting dashboards highlighting engagement metrics).

- An engagement role in the development, procurement, or deployment of a large ICT system in
