Description

Key Responsibilities - Lead and supervise the Correspondence team in the management of high quality Ministerial, Director-General and departmental correspondence, ministerial speeches, briefing notes and memos.

Maintain effective relationships with staff in the Minister's office, departmental officers and external agencies in relation to the timely provision of relevant executive and Ministerial documents.

Lead the effective management and continuous improvement of the department's correspondence tracking system to ensure that matters are properly progressed and completed.

Prepare correspondence performance reports for the Minister, Director-General and senior departmental officers.

Maintain the departmental writing style guide and intranet information and ensure it reflects modern public sector writing standards in relation to form, grammar and style.

Manage projects as directed by the Director, Executive Services Branch and contribute to the Executive Services leadership team. This position reports to the Director, Executive Services Branch.
