Ordinary hours of work:
Our locations are staffed between 08:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday. After-hours work will be required for Member Events and to properly perform your duties in accordance with this agreement. In addition, you are expected to attend the biannual strategy gathering

Your role


Our Area Manager's will ensure smooth operations across our locations, while motivating and leading their team to continually exceed business objectives, financial targets, and member deliverables.


They will also ensure to live our values, deliver brand promises, and develop and nurture their staff for individual and team success.


The Area Manager will take the lead to ensure a collaborative environment that is fully operational, whilst driving retention, growth, and promotion of Hub's member services.


Responsibilities

  • Nurture a thriving team culture_
  • Facilitate open and ongoing conversations amongst the team around feedback and improving our personal and collective performance
  • Conduct and document weekly WIPs with your direct reports, along with monthly followups, quarterly coaching sessions and professional development recommendations
  • Support learning, training and development for your team (in liaison with P&C team) to ensure employee satisfaction and retention
  • Ensure your team has accurate and timely metrics to measure their performance
  • Facilitate training of new systems and procedures to your team when required
  • Work with People & Culture (and your General Manager where necessary) to hire and onboard new team members
  • Be an advocate for Hub's policies and procedures to your team and members
  • Support the company in its ongoing certifications, including B-Corp certification and Great Place to Work
  • Live and breathe our values and Customer Service values
  • Community Management and Member Experience_
  • Work with your team to deliver a customer experience so great that people want to recommend us to others, always having the teams Net Promoter Score front of mind
  • Work closely with the Customer Experience team to ensure alignment to the National Experience Datasheet Systems (EDS)
  • Ownership of billing for your Area; including working closely with the Clubhouse Leads to complete the monthly bill run accurately and on time; and the Hub Australia delinquents process
  • Resolve Customer complaints referring to Hub's member policies and licence/membership agreements where applicable

  • Member Retention, Development & Sales opportunities_
  • Take responsibility for member retention metrics, implementation of initiatives to improve stats and work towards 100% occupancy and reduced churn rates
  • Assisting the Sales Manager and General Manager with sales deals and strategies.
  • Look for ways to upsell and upgrade existing members within the community
  • Ensure there is a focus on Business & Member Service revenue opportunities within the team
  • Assisting with tours for special guests of Hub
  • Liaise with Sales Manager and Marketing Team to ensure effec
