Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Food Services Assistant/Care Companion who is interested in a Part Time role at our Wyndham Lodge Community located in Werribee VIC.
The role of a Food Services Assistant/Care Companion is to provide the residents, families, and staff with assistance in the delivery of meals across the residence and support for the home in line with service standards and the food Safety Program guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery of meals across dining areas within a residence.
Ability to work with other catering staff and assist with the preparation of basic food stuff if required or directed by supervisor.
Ensure all catering facilities food safety program schedule is adhered to.
Assist customers with service delivery in line with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
Ensuring all staff in catering department maintain safe food handling practices and compliance.
Model and demonstrate extensive knowledge of Baptcare's Mission, Vision and We Care Values.

Availability in work over 7-day roster.
Relevant Industry Training - Food Handling and Hygiene Certificate
Previous experience working in an aged care or industry Catering team
Knowledge of Food Safely and HACCP compliance
