We are currently looking for experienced
_Behavior Support Practitioner _to join our team in Frankston/Mornington Peninsula as a
_Team Leader_.

  • As a _registered_ experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner
  • Team Leader some of your responsibilities will include:_
  • Supporting our PBS Clinical Lead and leadership team to ensure a high standards of work is delivered in accordance to legislative requirements
  • Ability to mentor and work collaboratively with members of a multidisciplinary team
  • Assisting participants, along with their families and/or carers, to identify needs through a personcentered approach in a community based setting
  • Develop and deliver behavior support services in accordance with the NDIS safeguards framework, particularly regarding restrictive practices
  • Ensuring individual plans reflect our NDIS participants' goals, passions and strengths, as well as ensuring they get more out of life

Qualifications:

Essential Criteria_**- A minimum of 2 years' in development and implementation of Positive Behaviour Support

  • Relevant qualification in allied health or social care and eligibility to register with the relevant membership body
  • Registration with the NDIS Quality & Safeguarding Commission as a Proficient or Advanced or Specialist level Behaviour Support Practitioner
  • Experience delivering services under the NDIS
  • A passion for being a leader in their field and delivering quality, evidence based therapeutic interventions
  • A drivers' licence and full access to a vehicle
  • A national police clearance and working with children check (or the ability to obtain one)

Desirable Criteria_**- Registration with relevant professional body Experience in providing training wand supervision to a team
