About School Infrastructure


School Infrastructure NSW (SINSW) is delivering new school buildings, major upgrades and maintenance strategies to ensure every school-aged child has access to high quality education facilities at their local public school.

This encompasses the largest investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW.


About the role


The Executive Officer will manage and coordinate a range of high-level executive, strategic and policy priorities, in consultation with the Group Executive Director, Operations to support the achievement of the organisation's strategic and operational objectives.


Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Driving research and the preparation of strategic advice to enable informed decision making and the effective delivery of the directorate's program of work.
  • Leading and contributing to internal projects to support the achievement of priority strategic and operational objectives.
  • Leading the preparation, management and review of correspondence, briefings and submissions relevant to the Group Executive Director, Operations.

Essential requirements of the role

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or demonstrated equivalent professional experience in the provision of highlevel executive support services.

Key knowledge and experience

  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

  • Exceptional time management, stakeholder engagement and prioritisation skills together with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong ability to deliver high quality outcomes within tight timeframes and conflicting deadlines.
  • Proven skills to anticipate the provision of accurate advice with discretion and sound judgement.
