The Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) has diverse responsibilities for transport systems and services, infrastructure planning and provision within South Australia.


Duties

The Environmental Advisor is responsible to the Principal Advisor for contributing technical and policy advice and specialist environment management services to the Department and State Government.

The role contributes to continuous improvement of environmental processes and procedures, including the development and review of discipline standards and guidelines.


The Environmental Advisor requires a sound knowledge of the Environment Management discipline, to provide advice reflective of industry capability and suitable to projects and programs in the field of construction, planning, operations and maintenance.


Requirements:

A relevant degree and/or post graduate qualification in environmental management or equivalent.


Special Conditions
Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel may be required.


Remuneration
PO2 - $85,665 to $94,801 per annum
