Due to increase in global project requirements within the Research & Development team, a new opportunity has arisen for a

Sample Management Technician to work within the R&D Group & be involved in sample management work from start to finish.

About the Opportunity:

Key responsibilities include the following:

Maintain sample integrity & accessions samples into sample management system.
Resolve discrepancies with responsibility for investigating & correcting sample anomalies.
Stages samples for testing per schedule/request & maintain operability of sample storage units (e.g. routine maintenance, temperature monitoring).
Ships samples to domestic or international destinations.
Import existing clinical samples in IM (Data Entry)& monitor materials stored at 28°C.
Perform basic laboratory activities, eg calibration of pH meter, ELISA.
Responsible for oversight of the goods receipt log process; run periodic reports & follow up on missing/outstanding orders.

About You:

Tertiary qualifications in Science.
Ability to work in a regulated environment.
Ability to work in a fastpaced team environment.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational & communication skills.
Proficienct in MS Excel, MS Word, Electronic Lab Notebook (IDBS).
