A bit about the role
We are seeking a talented Quality Assurance Officer to join our Information and Technology Services team.

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality standards through audits, reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

As part of an enabling team, you will work closely with the corporate Risk unit to build a culture that focuses on quality and compliance.


What you'll deliver

  • Conduct internal audits and monitor external audits of Technology Services processes to ensure compliance
  • Maintain and update departmental policies, audit, and compliance activities
  • Ensure accuracy and currency of all Technology Services documents, systems, and knowledge base
  • Provide support and guidance for system changes and new implementations through document review and signoff
  • Identify best practices and develop new networks to enhance Council's business interests.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, or a relevant discipline, or relevant experience and substantial relevant experience
  • Proven experience in Quality Assurance, Business Analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong ability to review, document, and maintain policies and procedures
  • Analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a positive, proactive, and flexible attitude
