About this position


Pacific Smiles Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced State Clinical Leader to offer clinical oversight and support across Queensland and New South Wales.

This pivotal position entails providing clinical guidance and assistance to our 80 managed centers and the dentists who choose to practice with us, ensuring adherence to our high standards of quality and governance.


In this position, you will collaborate closely with the General Manager NSW/QLD to offer clinical advice and support to the operations team and dental practitioners, driving quality improvement and clinical governance initiatives across both states.


Key duties include:

  • Conduct regular accreditation audits of NSW and QLD practitioners, providing recommendations and additional education as needed
  • Lead and review clinical incidents in NSW and QLD, identifying causes and recommending corrective actions
  • Maintain expertise in clinical governance, including Pacific Smiles Group's policies, frameworks, and industry standards
  • Chair the Clinical Governance Committee at a national level, overseeing quality improvement activities and reporting
  • Ensure practitioner compliance with clinical governance and standards, providing feedback where necessary to those not meeting minimum standards
  • Foster a clinical leadership and networking environment for practitioners in NSW/QLD


This is a full-time position with the added benefit of dedicating one day to working in a clinical setting, allowing you to stay connected with patients and uphold your clinical skills.

About you


We are seeking qualified Dentist with extensive clinical experience and current AHPRA registration who, not only has a strong understanding and experience in the clinical governance principles, but exceptional leadership and communications skills including the ability to have challenging conversations.

In addition to this you will also need

  • Experience in clinical auditing and incident management
  • Commitment to providing exceptional and ethical patient care
  • Ability to analyse data and translate results into learning outcomes
  • Proven ability to drive quality improvement initiatives
  • A current drivers license and ability to travel as required (mínimal)
