About the Role


The Industry Pathway Coordinator will create coherent and replicable national strategies to prepare and connect Workskil Australia customers to key employing sectors, in one of the following streams
: Retail; Customer Service and ICT;
Hospitality;
Trades, Construction and Mining;
Transport.

Logistics, Manufacturing and Agriculture; or
Health Care and Social Assistance.


The role will require experience in Business Development at a senior level and strong writing skills, with the ability to put together professional proposals and presentations to key stakeholders, such as employers, government, industry peak bodies and other stakeholders.

They will be able to engage confidently with senior managers across industry, including at the Executive level.


This position is being offered on a full time, ongoing basis and based Western Australia.

Site location negotiable.

About You
To be successful in the role you will be able to:

  • Work effectively with with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and CALD/Refugee Participants, Employers and other Stakeholders;
  • Effectively prove your strong knowledge of industry and the labour market;
  • Demonstrate your communication skills to negotiate customised jobs for participants with barriers to employment;
  • Develop, pilot, and deliver large scale preemployment programs;
  • Prove your ability to motivate and develop positive relationships with all stakeholders including staff;
  • Prove your ability to interpret reports and use data to identify quality, performance and compliance issues;
  • Demonstrate strong task and time management with attention to detail and data integrity;
  • Demonstrate strong computer literacy with Microsoft Office suite, including the ability to type 30 words per minute; and
  • Demonstrate experience in a management or leadership role.

You will also be required to:

  • Hold a current drivers' licence;
  • Have a minimum Certificate IV in Employment Services or Career Development; and
  • Have at least three years experience in Employment Services or Recruitment.

Remuneration
A competitive salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience.

As Workskil Australia is a public benevolent institution, we can also offer a portion of the salary through tax effective salary packaging.
