Quality Assurance Manager

Our client manufactures high efficiency, oil-free chillers and is at the forefront of reducing carbon emissions in commercial buildings, hospitals, data centres and more across the globe.


With its roots right here in Melbourne, this global organisation has won awards around the world for green initiatives and sustainability in their design, manufacture and installation of oil-free chillers.

For over 20 years their 10,000+ installations worldwide have contributed to dramatically cutting chiller energy consumption, leading to lower emissions and meeting green initiatives for clients.


Ever-focused on improvement, we're now seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to maintain and improve quality in line with ISO9000, based at their Melbourne manufacturing plant.


Champion Quality and Enjoy Variety


You'll be the champion of quality and improvement, with some days being packed with action and others more focused on documentation.

If you're looking for variety in your day-to-day, this is a great opportunity to mix it up between customers, suppliers and in-house teams.


The essential responsibilities for our quality champion include:

  • Lead and manage the quality team of six, and coordinate with other in-house teams
  • Oversee, analyse, record and identify improvements for quality in the business
  • Maintain and improve quality in line with ISO standards, CAPA, FMEA, SQA
  • Ensure quality of product delivery and assist clients in compliance requirements

Are You Our Champion?


You'll be a passionate improver, someone who relishes overcoming challenges in complex projects for the betterment of the whole team.

Ideally you will have previous manufacturing experience, and be keen to work for an organisation that is pioneering new technology.

All the usual technological and analytical skills are needed, as well as some specific must-haves:

  • Long-term experience in quality management is essential
  • Solid understanding of ISO standards, CAPA, FMEA, SQA
  • Mechanical aptitude needed to hit the ground running
  • Aptitude for data collection, collation and reporting
  • Strong ability to lead a team by inspiring rather than demanding
  • A drive to analyse and improve quality processes
