Digital Engineering Coordinator
KBR are the Principal Design partner on the North Western Program Alliance (NWPA). The Alliance comprises of Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP), Metro Trains Melbourne, KBR, and John Holland.


NWPA was established in 2017 and has delivered on approximately $3B of transport infrastructure projects for The State and community.

Based on our success, LXRP have recently awarded NWPA a 5-year extension to our partnership providing us a strong, clear pipeline of transport opportunities through Melbourne till 2027.


With the significant demand present within the Victoria transport sector, a move to NWPA & KBR is an exciting step in your career.

You'll be working on community shaping projects such as the Pakenham & Keon level crossing removal with some other diverse opportunities currently being developed and committed to NWPA.

The Opportunity


The role has a wide variety of responsibilities including providing support to the Digital Team and the delivery of successful Digital Engineering outcomes across the whole Alliance.

Whilst this position will initially join the NWPA, this is a permanent role with KBR.


What you will need to succeed

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with experience the ability to influence and guide stakeholders
  • Possess a sound understanding of current and innovative project delivery processes, including 4D delivery, 3D model validation, 3D quantity extraction and 3D Asset integration
  • Sound understanding of current industry standards (including ISO19650) and working experience of DE industry standards delivery
  • Knowledge and experience across multiple platforms and digital engineering related software, from design authoring, validation, analytics, cloud collaboration platforms, construction management tools through to asset integration
  • Minimum of 4 years' relevant digital engineering industry experience (large infrastructure preferred), including an applicable university or technical qualification in engineering, construction management, project management, building science or similar
