About the Role

  • Located at our Birtinya, Sunshine Coast office, the role will support our Plan Managers and partners to ensure that accurate and timely payment of invoices to providers within National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) rules and guidelines.
  • The role will contribute to the lives of people with a disability and their families through the ongoing quality improvement of our operations and service delivery.
  • This is an ideal position to further develop your career in the NDIS plan management and the disability sector.

Key Responsibilities include:


  • Enter invoices into a database timely, accurately and efficiently
  • Develop and maintain relationships with our Partners and their providers/suppliers
  • Collaborate internally to improve best practices and outcomes within the Plan Management team
  • Grow Optimum Plan Management clientbase by actively promoting our services to NDIS participants, plan nominees, service providers, support Coordinators and the disability network.
  • Undergo relevant training and personal development to stay up to date and compliant with relevant NDIS policies and procedures.
  • Contribute and interact with the team to create an inclusive workplace culture
  • Be a touchpoint for our partners and help them navigate the world of the NDIS

Experience & Skills:


  • A strong Understanding of the NDIS, and its pricing arrangements and guidelines.
  • Experience in data entry roles where attention to detail and maintaining efficiency are crucial
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Your strong analytical experience allows you to adapt and understand the NDIS price guide and provide timely advice and enter accurate invoice data.
  • Excellent time management
  • Experience in adapting to fastpaced change with internal business structure and outside industry practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service delivery.

Desirables:


  • Knowledge and experience in the NDIS space, especially in plan management.
  • Experienced with using the Careview or any other Plan Management Software.
  • Achievement of at least a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting or other relevant qualifications/relevant experience.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of the lived experience of people with a disability and the NDIS will be highly regarded.

Salary:

- $60, $70,000.00
