As a Product Manager for Data Governance, you will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer, giving you a unique opportunity to contribute to high-level strategic decisions.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Vendor Management: Effectively oversee vendors responsible for providing crucial data to the organisation, ensuring the seamless and accurate flow of data.
  • Strategic Data Development: Devise and uphold a robust data strategy that positions our organisation's data as a competitive advantage and a distinguishing factor in the dynamic financial market.
  • Comprehensive Data Mapping: Develop and maintain a comprehensive "data map" outlining essential data points, including their sources, usage, contractual rights, and retention parameters.
  • Data Quality Control: Establish and uphold an effective data quality control framework to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and consistency of our data assets.
  • Centralised Data Hub: Contribute to the development of a centralised data hub, exploring innovative and costeffective methods for sourcing captured data in a timely manner.
  • Data Collection and Maintenance: Supervise the collection, provision, and upkeep of product, benchmark, and financial market data from both clients and vendors.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Strong relationship management skills, coupled with experience in vendor management within financial services and banking organisations.
  • Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining data strategies that recognise data as a strategic asset.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial services and banking environments, showcasing your ability to navigate industryspecific challenges.
  • Proficiency in data modelling and visualisation techniques, enabling effective communication of insights and trends.
  • Background in collaborative work with Data Analytics and Operations teams, along with experience in setting and maintaining data quality standards.
