Responsibilities include:
- Deliver high quality gardening in parks/reserves/cemeteries across the Shire, including weeding, pruning, spraying, planting, mulching and rubbish removal
- Delivery works in line with planned programs/schedule of works
- Utilise iPad to record garden maintenance activities and communication
- Prepare and plant gardens as part of refurbishment program
- Use a range of horticulture equipment
- Positively contribute to a diverse, inclusive and fair work environment
- Work safely at all times adhering to our HSEQ policies and procedures
Experience and/or qualifications in the following are desirable:
- Proven experience or trade/tertiary qualifications in horticulture/gardening
- Manual Driver's Licence
- General mechanical aptitude
