Our client, a leading bank in Sydney, is seeking a Data Governance Consultant to join their team as a day rate contractor.
You will be responsible for maintaining the bank's data governance framework, policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, policies and procedures.
- Experience in implementing data governance initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Management or a related discipline.
- Relevant certifications will be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the bank's data governance framework, policies and procedures.
- Work with the business stakeholders to ensure compliance with data governance standards.
- Identify and address data quality issues.
- Support the implementation of data governance initiatives.
- Conduct data analysis to identify patterns, trends and insights.
- Develop reports and presentations to communicate data governance initiatives to senior management.
