Description
An exciting opportunity for an Operations Officer has become available at Swinburne University of Technology. The Operations Officer is a dynamic role responsible for administering maintenance contracts and services for the student residences accommodation.
The successful applicant is engaged in building walk throughs, conducting regular inspections & audits of all 608 rooms and 180 apartments, ensuring regular maintenance and cleaning completion, large scale planning and scheduling, stocktake and purchasing.
About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- High level database skills in data entry, creating workflows and reports.
- Efficient planning, scheduling and coordination of tasks
- Strong customer focus to deliver quality service
- Good verbal and interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people internal and external to the residences
Qualifications
- Completion of an associate diploma level qualification with relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
