About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate, driven, and enthusiastic Human Resources professional to join the ICC Sydney HR team. You will support us in delivering the people agenda in the role of Human Resources Advisor.


As the Human Resources Advisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and leading the employer of choice programs for ICC Sydney including wellbeing, engagement, diversity, and inclusion.

In this role you will build and maintain recruitment partnerships with schools and colleges, building a pipeline of talent.


Collaborating with the Human Resource Business Partners for each business unit as well as Business leaders, you will assist the team to embed these programs within their operations.

As part of the HR partnering team, you will assist the Human Resource Business Partners with their portfolio of business units as well as provide coverage during periods of leave.


The role is suited to a current HR professional who has developed a solid foundation of generalist Human Resources skills and is looking for the next step in their career.

You will be driven to achieve and progress your career, be resilient, and have a view to become a business partner.

To be successful in this role, you will be self-motivated, confident in navigating and rolling out programs, a natural communicator and have a passion for these aspects of HR.

Required Skills & Experience:


  • Human Resources or related Business Degree or Diploma.
  • Experience as a HR generalist in a Coordinator (or similar) role for 12 years.
  • Experience and understating of diversity and inclusion, engagement, wellness and return to work.


Additionally, you will have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, a demonstrated commitment to your career in Human Resources, with a desire to be part of one of the largest and most innovative events businesses in Australia.

To succeed, you will have a passion for getting results, strong attention to detail and a constant small improvement focus, underpinned by a strong service attitude, and well-developed and polished communication skills.

You are required to submit a one to two page covering letter, including a short statement in response to the following targeted questions below;

To be eligible for employment you must be an Australian Citizen or a permanent resident of Australia or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to work unrestricted in Australia.
