About the Role


We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our Perth team to process and maintain a payroll portfolio of approximately 3500 employees.

This role would be working within a hybrid working environment with 50% working from home and 50% based in our Canning Vale office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver timely and accurate end to end processing payroll on a fortnightly and monthly basis
  • Processing of Manual pays, as required
  • Collecting, calculating and entering information in order to maintain and update the payroll master data
  • Produce reports as required for the business
  • Comply with relevant awards, agreements and legislation and remain up to date with relevant changes and the impacts on payroll
  • Assist with month end reporting and adhoc legislative reporting
  • Processing of New Starters and Terminations
  • Provide support to fellow team members, as required

To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • High attention to detail;
  • Solid understanding of awards/EBAs & payroll legislation;
  • Confidence and understanding of payroll and procedures end to end
  • High level organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines;
  • Strong Excel skills;
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience with SAP is highly desirable.
