  • Monday to Friday office based


Immediate start 4 week+ contract with a view for extension for an experienced facilities officer with 3+ years similar recent experience working in the Adelaide CBD.

This is an opportunity to use your existing knowledge and experience in co-ordinating maintenance and facilities work and build on it in a professional and supportive team environment.

Great position with structured in-office hours Monday to Friday and a weekly pay. (No weekend work)

Key duties will involve

  • Coordinate and arrange for repairs and maintenance work to be completed at Accommodation properties
  • Acting as a key point of contact for a wide range of stakeholders internal and external and providing access by contractors, providing contractor site inductions where required and ensuring public utilities are in place
  • Monitoring property maintenance and maintaining accurate and timely records
  • Negotiating and managing new leases, licences, joint use agreements and renewals
  • Coordinating and delivering facility or accommodation projects
  • High level report writing and communication skills

To be successful in the role you must demonstrate proven experience and knowledge of accommodation and facilities management along with having outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

To be successful for this role it is essential that you:

  • Have proven experience in a facilities, building management, property or asset manegement role (ideally with exposure to state or local government)
  • Are available immediately
  • Have a current Working with Children Clearance
  • Full Drivers Licence
  • Understand the role is based in the office no work from home option
  • High level ability to investigate, analyse and evaluate problems
  • Able to effectively provide advice to executives and senior officers
  • To be available for immediate start
