This position can be based at any one of the following office locations in the SEVR Moe, Leongatha, Sale, Bairnsdale, Dandenong, Frankston and East Bentleigh.

An exciting opportunity exists to work as part of a multidisciplinary, area-based team that is building the capabilities of early childhood service providers and focused on delivering improved outcomes for children in the South-Eastern Victorian Region.

The role of the Early Childhood Funding Advisor is to provide a range of program support services to funded agencies, Early Childhood Performance and Planning Advisors and the broader regional staff.

The position will be required to work effectively to deliver quality, timely and effective customer service to managers, staff, agencies, clients and members of the public.


The role will:


  • Support early childhood stakeholders including kindergartens, long day care centres and families with funding queries;
  • Prepare documentation, manage records and processes in line with policy guidelines;
  • Assist in the development and review of manuals and processes;
  • Utilise a range of funding systems to develop program related reports as required;
  • Work collaboratively with the broader South East Early Childhood Improvement Branches to meet joint objectives.
