Salary:
$92,332 to $104,762 (Plus Superannuation)

  • Fixed term role until 30 June 202
  • Usual hours of work: Full time (flexibility may be available)
  • Usual work location: 17 Hardware Lane, Melbourne (flexibility may be available)


This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified social worker (or similar qualification) to join the Study Melbourne Hub, Victoria and help deliver a suite of welfare support services to international students whilst they study in Victoria.

Reporting to the Manager - Casework Team, the role will focus on day-to-day activities such as intake, assessment, case planning, referral, and material aid provision.

The responsibilities of the Case Manager will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide intake, assessment and casework services to international students
  • Ensure that all casework, financial and project files are maintained to high standards
  • Deliver services that are culturally responsive and support the empowerment of international students
  • Demonstrated experience undertaking intake assessment, case planning and referrals
  • Demonstrated and welldeveloped interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Relevant tertiary degree in Social Work or other related discipline
  • Proficiency in languages other than English would be well regarded
