An exciting opportunity has become available for a Process & Packaging Coordinator located in Northmead.


The role:


Reporting to the Future works Manager, the purpose of your role is to coordinate site specific NPC / Portfolio launches, package (format or process) optimisation and to ensure on time delivery, in scope and in budget.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate timely state capability response to gated projects, pack optimizations or other projects by ensuring collaborative input from key stakeholders and SME's.
  • Facilitate risk assessments and capital scope discussions
  • Coordinate with SME's and/or area manager when managing trials associated with projects (as mentioned at no.1) and full report on completion.
  • Coordinate cascading of information and designating of checklists post launch comm receival.
  • Coordinate or manage (where required) first commercial run of project (as mentioned at no.1) with site planners to ensure availability according to launch comms.
  • Communicate regular project updates so that all functions involved are clear on the current project status and collect any information that could affect the progress of the projects
  • Participate in regular site / national meetings with regards to projects (as mentioned in no.1)
  • Work collaboratively with SME's (internal / external) on obtaining and understanding of quotes to clarify impact on projects (as mentioned in no.1)
  • Reassess SKU's which has not been manufactured at site for more than 18 months with site planners to assess if they need to be treated as a new project.
  • Process review of different change management functions and roll out to site

Qualifications & Experience:


  • Track record of delivering complex packaging, process or engineering projects on time and to budget
  • FMCG environment, large business including health & safety, environmental and food factory quality standards
  • Health, Safety & Environment compliance
  • Process improvement
  • Customer Focus
  • Problem Solving skills
  • Analytical thinking
  • The ability to work well within a team
  • Preferred degree in Engineering, Science
