REMA TIP TOP is seeking experienced Mechanical Technicians for current projects in the Pilbara region on various rosters.

Duties and tasks - Boilermakers:

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
Install and maintain mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery, including conveyor systems, pumps, and motors
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems and defects
Fabricate and assemble structural metal products, including frames, scaffolding, and supports
Cut, weld, and braze metal parts using welding and flamecutting equipment
Repair and maintain mechanical systems, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
Use hand and power tools to make precision cuts, measurements, and adjustments

Duties and tasks - Conveyor Technicians:

Maintaining and repairing conveyor belt system's associated components including but not limited to; scrapers, roller frames, skirting systems, belt cleaning systems, belt tracking units, transfer chutes, and conveyor structures
Cleaning and adjusting primary and secondary cleaners, ploughs, and water control units
Completing conveyor safety and operational inspections
Adhere and possess strong commitment to workplace health and safety

Job requirements for both positions:

Current Drivers Licence
Trade Certificate
High Risk Work Licence including Forklift, EWP, Dogging, Rigging etc
Confined Spaces ticket
Working at Heights ticket
Gas Test Atmospheres ticket
