Key Responsibilities:


  • Run the International daily shipment processing and assist with queries resulting from that process.
  • Review and lead all import exception management issues
  • Support internal international logisticsbased queries
  • Trace and supervise import shipments with Freight Providers and Overseas Suppliers.
  • Coordinate inbound air and ocean deliveries to warehouses
  • Provide Import freight quotations for Internal Customers, and customer tenders.
  • Complete freight cost comparison, to determine the most efficient outcomes
  • Coordinate with internal commercial teams, to arrange positioning of cargo for customer deliveries, and arranging direct deliveries to customer via freight provider.
  • Support the warehouse operations team to resolve Import shipment discrepancies.
  • Play an active part in over dimensional cargo projects, sea and air alike
  • Have input into freight cost analysis and ANZ RFQ process
  • Lodge and prepare documentation for International shipment insurance claims with relevant parties
  • Be part of duty/ freight recovery/reduction projects
Coordinate Import direct to customer shipments.
Support the production of reports / actions to improve OCT

  • May be required to perform other related duties as the need arises and/or assigned within the International Logistics Team

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Must be organized and logical, willing to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures
  • Must be able to work as part of a team in a fast paced and pressured environment, communicating effectively with both colleagues and clients and following verbal and written instructions
  • Must be able to efficiently tackle problems relating to sales, finance and transportation of goods in locations both national and overseas
  • Must have excellent digital literacy and be able to operate Microsoft Office and be familiar with any other software pertinent to the position
  • Must have very strong spreadsheet skills (Excel).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills

  • Minimum of 2 years international Logistics experience
