Job Description Summary
An exciting opportunity exists for highly motivated, flexible and reliable individuals to join our team as a Casual Field Service Officer.
The role of Field Service Officer is responsible for data collection duties from commercial and domestic properties across the Perth Metro area under our Western Power contract.
Key responsibilities and challenges of the role include but are not limited to:
- Driving the company vehicle in order to complete most duties
- Obtaining and entering meter readings into a handheld data device on a 42 day cyclic reading schedule
- Disconnection and reconnection of meters
- Ensuring that the final readings and other details are accurate and returned in a timely manner
- Services provided are to the satisfaction of the consumer and the service authority
- Contributing to the public perception of the company and service authority by dealing with the public in a courteous manner with high standards of personal presentation
- All works are completed safely using correct occupational health and safety procedures
- Travel to regional areas to carry out the above duties
Applicants must possess:
- Commitment to work 5 days per week, Monday
- Friday 38 hours
- Current & valid WA driver's licence auto and manual
- Sound communication skills
- Outstanding customer service skills including conflict resolution skills
- Ability to understand and follow work procedures and safe approach to work
- Highly motivated, flexible and organised
Where the applicant doesn't already hold the qualification, training will be provided:
- OHS Construction Industry White card
- First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate
- Network Authority Card (NAC) desirable
