The Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC) currently retains all the powers and responsibilities of the former Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation (VCGLR), as the independent statutory authority that regulates the liquor and gambling industries in Victoria.

We undertake activities to prevent and detect breaches, also informing and educating industry and the public about regulatory practices and requirements.

The opportunity
Who we are looking for
An experience Manager to manage a team that is responsible for;
- gambling and gaming licence management including licensing, authorisation and registration activities for gambling industry participants and products; managing major licensees; and venue operations assessment and monitoring
- delivery of an end to end regulatory approach for gambling license management and gaming venues in Victoria that delivers the VGCCC regulatory posture, including timely and effective risk based auditing, data analysis and reporting and compliance and enforcement processes that are proportionate to the risks posed and harms caused
- monitoring and analysing future and emerging issues and trends with the potential to impact the gambling industry and the prevalence of gambling harm, considering legislation and policy frameworks
- preparation of data reports, Commission Papers and other complex executive briefings and memoranda and gambling licensing matters and other relevant strategies to address the regulation of general gambling activities and gambling issues relating to licences, permits and approvals
