Better Health Network (BHN) is seeking a Family Counsellor to join our Resilient Communities program.

As part of our experienced counselling team, you will deliver timely and quality counselling services to individuals, couples, children, and families.

Join a supportive and collaborative team dedicated to making a positive impact in the community.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct assessments for individuals, couples, children, and families seeking counselling services.
Provide centerbased counselling interventions.
Participate in the development and implementation of therapeutic group programs.
Offer secondary consultation to health professionals.
Complete administrative duties including assessments and case notes.

Requirements and Attributes

Degree or Diploma in social work or related field
Postgraduate qualifications in counselling and/or Family Therapy
Minimum of two years' experience in family counselling
Knowledge of evidencebased therapeutic interventions
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Commitment to the Social Model of Health
