The Role:

The Village Manager/Sales Consultant is to be responsible to the Retirement Village for the lifestyle of the residents.

They will also look after the sales and marketing duties that come with the turnover of residents.

Some of the responsibilities will include, and are not limited to:

  • To ensure the efficient operation of the retirement village complex in conjunction with the Operations Manager
  • Appointment of staff
  • To direct, control and manage staff and contractors as specified
  • Conduct staff performance appraisals in line with Company policy.
  • To provide input into the preparation of budgets.
  • To maintain and implement strategies for continuous improvement to the efficiency and operations of the village.
  • To ensure all the grounds and buildings, plant and machinery are maintained to a high standard.
  • To ensure that a 24 hour, 7 day per week emergency care service is available to residents
  • To organise tours or village outings as required
  • Maintain and improve work health and safety standards.
  • Conduct tours of the village for prospective residents and their family/friends
  • To conduct all sales enquiries in a professional manner
  • Prepare marketing material, brochure packs, sales documents
  • Promote sales by assisting with the implementation and arrangement of shopping centre promotions and meetings with sporting, charitable and service clubs to promote a good relationship with the community.
  • Adhere to Sales budget requirements
  • Assist with the marketing and releasing of units when required
  • Be fully educated on all products and services in all aspects including disclose documents, Retirement Village/Privacy legislation, which includes but is not limited to the sale of units, resident leases, the Company's Articles of Association and Retirement villages Act, as well as any future legislative changes

MUST have a Real estate license/property management and sales registration:


  • MUST have a senior first aid certificate:
  • MUST have experience in either Property Management, Village Management or similar
  • Has a courteous and friendly demeanour
