As part of our diverse team based in
Canberra, you'll help make a positive impact on someone's life every day.
We are currently recruiting a Case Manager to manage a portfolio of
Physical and Psychological claims within our Federal Self-Insurance business unit.
You will be the point of contact for our self-insured client and the injured worker, guiding them through the workers compensation process and supporting optimum return to work outcomes.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will be proactively managing mental health and physical claims, drawing on your exceptional customer service and decisionmaking skills to help make a positive impact on someone's life every day
- Adopt a service
- Facilitate active participation of the injured worker and their employer in any return to work and recovery planning
- Bringing your existing skills, you can do more of what you love or learn something new in a team aligned to Federal Self-Insurance
ABOUT YOU
- You will have a background in customer service
- You will display a high level of empathy and resilience when supporting your injured workers through your customer centric approach
- You will be proactive, strategically focused and can think creatively when engaging with stakeholders such as workers, employers, providers and family
- You will have strong communication skills and can build rapport and confidence with your customers
- You will effectively listen and understand the needs of the customer and what is important to them to enable their recovery and return to work
- Prior experience in claims management and/or allied health experience is highly desirable
- Tertiary studies in Business, Commerce or Allied Health (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, Nursing, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling or Exercise Science) are advantageous
