About the role

This role designs and delivers ANZ Institutional's exceptional portfolio of centrally managed events and sponsorship.

As our events lead you'll design and deliver an event program that supports business and marketing strategic priorities through best-in-class approaches to customer engagement.

You'll work with your two direct reports as well as event agencies, vendors, suppliers, central and divisional marketing teams and Australian business leaders, and internationally where global programs are implemented in collaboration with local teams.

With impeccable planning and execution, you'll assess the viability and impact of event approaches and proposals.

And using modern marketing approaches and thought leadership in event programs you'll strengthen customer relationships, integrate sales lead opportunities, and drive profitable revenue.

Key accountabilities:

Plan and manage a portfolio of external events and sponsorships that drive client engagement and promote ANZ as the leading Institutional relationship and sustainability bank in the region.
Streamline the everyday and free capacity for uplift through impeccable execution and disciplined investment for best customer and business outcomes.

Melbourne / Sydney

Role type: 12 month Fixed Term Contract, full-time

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

Extensive experience of best practice event management strategy and delivery
Background and experience in B2B Marketing / Communications / Public Relations
A natural collaborator with influence, gravitas and empathy
The commerciality and discipline to maximise efficiency and impact

You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
