Overview:

The opportunity is to work with a leading team in the world on new energy data systems and help transform their business.

Our client is looking for a self-motivated IT data professional to assist with populating a new data lakehouse project on Azure Databricks.

This role would suit a SQL expert with knowledge of MS SQL and Oracle data structures and queries.

No experience is needed with Azure Databricks Lakehouse, this would be an opportunity for the right person to learn on the job this latest technology.

Ideally, you'll:

Should be familiar with Kanban, daily standup and taking ownership of one task at a time to completion.
Perform data analysis on source systems as defined by our data architect in order to complete an engineering template in Azure Databricks.
Have some knowledge of python would be valuable by not mandatory.
Have strong Data Quality skills and the ability to run tests to ensure data completeness is critical to the success.
Additional duties may include assisting the business with SQL queries and optimization, assisting with reporting and data visualization in tools like Azure Databricks and Microsoft PowerBI
