About the role
The IS SCM Service Delivery Lead is an owner of IS Service contracts with Application and infrastructure Suppliers. They ensure that services provided by third parties are secure and reliable while exercising contractual clauses to ensure key KPIs (e.g. Critical Service Levels, Key Measures) are upheld.

The IS SCM Service Delivery Lead acts as the escalation point between Business, IS and 3rd party vendors to ensure service levels do not deteriorate.


The IS SCM Service Delivery Lead works closely with the relevant Santos business areas and IS Service Towers to ensure that their requirements are being met and that their respective IS Services are evolving as business requirements and technology platforms evolve.


Key accountabilities include:

  • SAP SCM Knowledge including Sourcing, procurement and EWM.
  • Thorough SCM Business understanding.
  • Ensure all regulations including safety, license compliance area adhered to by Santos and nonSantos staff Mitigate or minimize risk to the business through proactive management of processes
  • Understanding of integration between multiple systems.
  • Cross functional knowledge.
  • Champion change and foster performance culture to achieve desired culture outcomes.
  • Implement and deliver on cost reduction efficiencies and value creation strategies where relevant to IS SCM Applications platforms and 'as a service' offerings
  • SAP SCM Certified preferred.

About you

  • Excellent stakeholder and customer management skills are a 'must have' and your proficiency in the development and maintaining of IS strategies and roadmaps for SCM systems will underpin your success in this role. Furthermore, you will also possess experience in integrating SCM systems, whilst any experience in supporting SAP S4HANA SCM modules in the Oil & Gas industry would be looked upon favourably.
