The exciting opportunity:


  • Full time role with the option to work a 9 day fortnight
  • Operational responsibility of a refurbished 100+ bed aged care facility in Perth's Northern suburbs
  • Manage, empower and mentor a team; ensuring a smooth running facility with staff committed to high performance, best practice and person centred care
  • Implement and support quality improvement activities so residents and their families' expectations are not just met, but exceeded
  • Develop genuine collaborative relationships with residents and their families to provide an exceptional customer experience
  • Have full profit & loss responsibility, and manage resources effectively to ensure the facility achieves financial targets
  • Identify growth opportunities and positively engage with stakeholders and the community to build mutually beneficial relationships
  • Create and implement new initiatives that contribute to the organisation's overall strategic objectives
  • Oversee compliance to the Aged Care Standards, legislative requirements and policies to ensure high quality and a safe work environment

About you:


  • Previous experience in a Facility Manager role, successfully leading a multidisciplinary team to meet the legislative and industry demands
  • Superb business acumen with the ability to manage a budget and balance the financial needs of the home with resident care requirements
  • Knowledge of the Aged Care legislation and a demonstrated ability leading facilities through successful accreditations
  • A strong and confident leader who provides their team with support and clear standards
  • Flexible, solution oriented and passionate about providing care to the elderly that allows them to maintain their independence
