The exciting opportunity:
- Full time role with the option to work a 9 day fortnight
- Operational responsibility of a refurbished 100+ bed aged care facility in Perth's Northern suburbs
- Manage, empower and mentor a team; ensuring a smooth running facility with staff committed to high performance, best practice and person centred care
- Implement and support quality improvement activities so residents and their families' expectations are not just met, but exceeded
- Develop genuine collaborative relationships with residents and their families to provide an exceptional customer experience
- Have full profit & loss responsibility, and manage resources effectively to ensure the facility achieves financial targets
- Identify growth opportunities and positively engage with stakeholders and the community to build mutually beneficial relationships
- Create and implement new initiatives that contribute to the organisation's overall strategic objectives
- Oversee compliance to the Aged Care Standards, legislative requirements and policies to ensure high quality and a safe work environment

About you:
- Previous experience in a Facility Manager role, successfully leading a multidisciplinary team to meet the legislative and industry demands
- Superb business acumen with the ability to manage a budget and balance the financial needs of the home with resident care requirements
- Knowledge of the Aged Care legislation and a demonstrated ability leading facilities through successful accreditations
- A strong and confident leader who provides their team with support and clear standards
- Flexible, solution oriented and passionate about providing care to the elderly that allows them to maintain their independence
