Summary

Multi-award winning luxury hotel, the Park Hyatt Sydney seeks an experienced Assistant Manager - Security to assist the Hotel Security and Safety Manager and Security Team on a full-time basis.

You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of one of Australia's leading hotels in accordance with Hyatt International brand standards.

The main duties include, but not limited to:

Security support to all departments across the Hotel
Fire Safety including patrols and hazard identification
Employee and Asset Protection
Maintenance of the Hotel's Emergency Management Plan
Development and implementation of various Hotel Safety & Security procedures
Ensuring compliance with company policy and procedure
Incident response, investigation and report writing
Monitoring CCTV and internal alarms
Providing proactive public security presence

Qualifications:

Key Selection Criteria include:

Professional diploma or certificate in Safety and Security
Advanced Resuscitation Certificate
Fire Wardens Certificate
Investigations qualification or experience is desirable
Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation
Proven ability in conflict deescalation skills

Computer literate

Word, Excel and Access
Ability to work varying shifts primarily between 3pm to 11pm including weekends.
