We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Training & Business Support Officer at Power Training Services, located in Jandakot, on a Full-Time Permanent basis.


About this role


As a Training & Business Support Officer you will be required to support the successful delivery of programs and projects by undertaking a broad range of administrative duties and general support activities, confidential reporting, and project duties to support the Power Training Services Function.


  • Prepare relevant project and program (i.e. presentations, reports, agendas, minutes, workshop materials etc.).
  • Provide financial management support to enable solid financial control
  • Management of training data integrity within the corporate learning management system
  • Support the coordination, scheduling and recording of training in a manner that is efficient, relevant to training needs, and compliant with RTO requirements
  • Understanding and contributing to the endtoend business processes with a focus on the customer, efficiencies for the business and compliance to internal and RTO requirements
  • Work with the courseware and delivery teams to coordinate course administration processes including creation of new courses, course pricing, course scheduling, online learning modules and proactive management of student waitlists
  • Contribute to the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of systems and processes to maximise efficiencies and ensure RTO compliance
  • Manage, continuously improve, and innovate project administrative systems, and provide advice on project process and methodology issues.
  • Demonstrate personal behaviours in line with business values, codes, standards and expectations.

About you
We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:

  • At least 4+ years demonstrable, effective administrative, organisational, prioritising, planning, and coordinating skills preferably within a project, planning and / or scheduling environment.
  • Strong customer focus, stakeholder management, influencing, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement, scheduling, and cost control activities.
  • Capable of developing and working with complex spreadsheets.
  • Proven personal effectiveness with business acumen.
  • Intermediate experience of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
