Safety Inspector
Land Engineering are leaders in the utilities fields of Water, Sewer, and Civil Construction. We are based in Hastings 3915 on the Mornington Peninsula. Our Projects range in size from small local jobs to large scale tier 1 works.

We are seeking a Safety Inspector to join our team. This role will be both office and field based, often regional.

Must be able to communicate and represent the company using professional communication both written and verbal with important clients, customers etc.

The role will require:

Identify opportunities for system and process improvements.

Develop/undertake HSE contractor management, document review and development, technical support, and training development where required.

Perform risk assessments.

Lead incident investigations.

Lead Safety Committee meetings.

Any ad/hoc issues that may arise relating to Health and Safety.

Support the entire project delivery team to ensure the project is delivered efficiently and safely.

Identify opportunities for improvement to ensure best practice and effective work processes and make recommendations.

Develop / execute and provide reports and improvement plans.

Provide active support and coaching to field employees to ensure embedment of systems, processes, and best works practices.


What you should have:

• Systems and or technical knowledge.

A minimum of 3+ years HSE experience.

Up to date current knowledge of OH&S / WHS and/or Environmental legislation.

Report / Document writing

Experience in improving workplace HSE culture.

Experience Civil Construction Safety awareness.
