Dean & Ling Executive are proud to partner with ARTC Inland Rail for this once-in-a-generation project and are seeking expressions of interest from Reporting Analysts to work on this exciting project.


Inland Rail (IR) is a 1,700km fast freight backbone, connecting Melbourne and Brisbane that will transform how goods are moved around Australia, better linking business, manufacturers and producers to national and global markets.


The role of the Reporting Analyst is to provide reporting to the Inland Rail Leadership Team, ARTC Board and Australian Government Shareholder Departments through the provision of monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reports as required to support effective management of the IR Program.


The Reporting Analyst will ensure requirements are met under the compliance framework, including the Project Development Agreement, Equity Financing Agreement, Statement of Expectation and any other requirements.


Responsibilities

  • Provide timely, accurate and compliant reporting to Australian Government Shareholder Departments.
  • Provide timely, accurate and clearly communicated internal performance reporting to the delivery projects and supporting functions through governance forums, leveraging a business intelligence approach to enable datadriven decisionmaking.
  • Develop, document and implement integrated project/program controls and reporting processes.
  • Plan, compile, review, and issue internal reports as required for internal governance forums.
  • Identify and collaboratively develop performance reporting and business intelligence requirements across the program.
  • Conceptualise, design, develop, implement, and validate reports, data models and Power BI dashboard analytics.
  • Perform reporting, business intelligence and dashboard quality and assurance activities, including ensuring the integrity and validation of data.
  • Provide support for reporting, business intelligence and dashboard issues, including supporting or providing training and support materials to the wider program where required.
***To ensure success in this position, applicants will be able to demonstrate:
  • High demonstration of professional experience in project or program delivery.?
  • Professional experience in performance reporting and broad understanding of integrated project controls, including management of schedule, cost, risk, quality and earned value within a project or program environment.?
  • Professional experience in stakeholder engagement, reporting and compliance.?
  • High level verbal, report writing and communication skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft products such as Word and Excel,?
  • Experience in the use of business intelligence tools such as Power BI to transform, analyse, and present data and insights.?
  • Ability to prepare complex reports and documents,??
  • Ability to manage timelines and deal with multiple complex issues whilst maintaining confidentiality,?
