Sydney Speech Clinic is an independently run speech pathology and occupational therapy clinic based in the heart of Lane Cove, Sydney.
We pride ourselves on providing expert clinical care for our clients and their families and we love working collaboratively in our modern, light, bright and spacious purpose-built clinic.
We are a collegiate team of 12, committed to high-quality client care, already working with modern (almost paperless) office systems.
Our clinic is conveniently located close to public transport, parking, shops, cafes and restaurants.About the Role
Due to the expansion of our service, a unique opportunity now exists for an experienced Allied Health Receptionist (Client Services) to join our team.
You will be closely supported by the Client Services Team to use our administrative systems with the aim of ensuring that the whole team can operate in a coordinated and professional manner.
You will also be responsible for making sure our clinical environment is the welcoming space we want for our families.
The position would suit an experienced Receptionist looking for a new challenge in a growing practice, or a quick learner looking to move into this kind of working environment.
Responsibilities
Key areas of responsibility include:
Meeting and greeting clients
Booking appointments and managing multiple diaries
Payment handling
Management of client databases and files
Providing general assistance and support to the therapy team
Maintaining clinic supplies and overseeing day to day organisation of the clinic space

Ability to prioritise and organise with close attention to detail

Full awareness of the need to maintain absolute confidentiality regarding patient information
Natural ability to interact with children of various ages and adults with speech and language difficulties
Able to remain calm under pressure
Ability to work both cooperatively and independently
Excellent IT skills

Remuneration will be reflective of experience.
