GEDON are currently partnered with a multi-state, leading infrastructure advisory business that are establishing themselves in the fast-moving Queensland market after incredible success interstate.


This business has built an incredible reputation and a loyal client base across both the public and private sector in AU across a range of key growth sectors namely transport infrastructure (road and rail), mining, water and power.


A dynamic enterprise that has grown organically and from humble beginnings, they provide a vast range of services including high-level estimating and cost planning, risk analysis, detailed programming and claims advice to name a few.

But what this business is really known for is estimating.


With an incredible track record interstate, my client is expanding their operations into QLD and as such are seeking an Infrastructure State Cost Manager to help grow and develop the business, move into different growth areas and ultimately establish them as a key player in the industry over time.


This isn't a flash in the pan idea - there is a robust business development plan in place to ensure this post holder has every opportunity to succeed and the support they need to make this a success.


The focus of the State Cost Manager in the interim is to be the lead resource in QLD and to carry out business development initiatives from their extensive network of clients in the transport, energy or water sector(s).


This is a role that allows for total autonomy, huge influence in the shape and direction of the business and the chance to play a massive part in the success of a recognizable name in the industry.


What background will suit this role?
Due to the nature of the position, this role will naturally lend itself to those who have experience on client-side operations either with an owner or a specialist consultancy / advisory firm based in Queensland

Those from a contractor background will also be considered however.


It is expected that you have at least 15 years of experience in costing / commercial position with first principles estimating being a mainstay in your career.


You will also have extensive experience on major projects in Queensland within transport infrastructure (preferably), water / utilities or energy sectors.
