Acute Hospital Account Manager/Equipment Specialist
An exciting role exists for a sales professional ideally with experience in the Hospital / Aged Care space.

Alternatively, you may be an Allied Health professional with strong clinical experience who is looking for a move into sales.

This position is based in Townsville and will cover Townsville Hospital and Healthcare district, including both Hospitals and Aged Care facilities.


The role


Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for marketing and driving revenue for a diverse range of capital and medical equipment.

You will offer expert advice and your technical expertise presented to key stakeholders ranging from NUMs to C-Suite, and will deliver solutions to facilities, whilst also driving better patient outcomes.


Key Responsibilities are as follows:


  • Meet or exceed allocated budget requirements
  • Maintain existing company accounts, driving better results for end user
  • Build networks among various stakeholders both internally and externally to assist in the growth of assigned territory
  • Advise management of trends and developments within the market
  • Work to a call plan and utilise CRM functions to strategise future opportunities
  • Work collaboratively with the business' operations and service teams to develop other areas of the organisation
  • Driven with a sales mentality, resilient and adaptable to change
  • OTs, Physios, nurses desirable, however not essential
  • Ability to identify and develop new opportunities
  • Ability to work autonomously, but also a team player within the business both locally and nationally
  • Strong time management and communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and selling skills
  • Ability to communicate technical and clinical information to a variety of external stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel overnight where required regionally and also sales attend sales conferences interstate
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
