The opportunity

Working with our FIP Group brand, this role assists in managing and aligning HR best practices across a range of operational, broad and generalist HR functions within the entity.


People Manager - Operations will ensure HR policies, procedures, practices are implemented in line with our organisational Values and Code of Conduct. This role is responsible for providing advice, as well as coaching and guiding senior leaders and managers on a range of employment related matters.

Working closely with the entity CEO, the role of the

People Manager - Operations is to provide the entity with professional, timely, and accurate industrial and workplace relations advice and assist in represent the business with the Fair Work Commission or other potential Industrial disputes.

The role will encompass the following duties;

  • Lead and manage 3 direct reports.
  • Development and oversight of Operational HR Processes and Administration.
  • Effectively deal with stakeholder needs and expectations.
  • Assist senior leaders and managers with performance management processes for operational staff.
  • Assist senior leaders and managers with disciplinary and grievance investigations, ensuring adherence to organisational policies and legislative requirements.
  • Provide accurate and timely advice in relation to Award and agreement interpretation and implementation, seeking guidance where required.
  • Assist in developing, implementing and managing best practice for industrial relations activities of the entity.
  • Analise wage and salary reports for operational employees to determine compliance.

What you need

This role requires a person who thinks outside the box and thrives on rolling up their sleeves to collaborate with business partners to achieve business goals.


  • Tertiary qualified in Human Resource Management or similar field
  • 4+ years' experience in a HR Generalist role
  • Strong multitasking, and decisionmaking skills
