Position Summary


The Storeperson is responsible for supporting the Warehouse Coordinator in overseeing the receipt, co-ordination and safety of goods coming through the warehouse.


In particular, the Storeperson:

  • Supports Warehouse Coordinator to manage material flow and stock control, including preparing stock required for production.
  • Works as part of a team in a high paced environment.
  • Ensures orders arrive and are despatched on time to the right destinations and in the right quantities.
  • Maintains safety standards.
  • Work with Warehouse Coordinator to ensure the quality accreditation is maintained.
Role responsibilities encompass tasks within the following key areas:

  • Warehousing including forklift operations.
  • Employee task support (as required)
  • Team leadership

About the Role


Reporting to the PAK Operations Manager, you will work in a process driven warehouse, supporting the Warehouse Coordinator in facilitating daily logistics of goods to and from Brite.

You will be driven by having great attention to detail, taking pride in the tidiness of the warehouse and providing excellent customer service.

You will be motivated to constantly make the warehouse better.


Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Support the Warehouse Coordinator to manage material flow and stock control, including preparing stock required for production.
  • Manage inbound goods and ensure orders arrive and are dispatched on time to the right destinations and in the right quantities.
  • Picking and packing with high accuracy and within designated deadlines.
  • Ensuring inventory movements and inventory integrity are maintained.
  • Handling products with care always.
  • Organising transport as required.
  • Performing stocktakes as directed.
  • Assist with admin, reports, receipts and paperwork efficiently, accurately and quickly.
  • Update customers and sales reps with arrival/departure times of deliveries.
  • Coordinate the supply of goods to internal and external customers.
  • Report all issues to management stakeholders.
  • Maintain safety standards.
  • Work with Warehouse Coordinator to ensure the quality accreditation is maintained.
  • Work collaboratively to achieve team KPIs.

About you


You are energetic and able to work in a relatively busy warehouse, with the ability to proactively engage with the team.

You are organised, ready to take ownership of the role and build sound processes.

  • Hardworking with good listening skills to identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Highly organised, able to work unsupervised efficiently.
  • Professional phone manner, good energy, and an enthusiasm to learn.

Essential to the role:

  • Demonstrated experience in warehousing or logistics.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, MS Office, with computer literacy skills to record and maintain documents.
  • Current forklift licence.
  • Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen.
  • Onsite work required Monday-Friday from 8am4pm.
  • Experience in similar role (desired).
  • Certificate IV in Community Services (Disability Work) or similar relevant qualificatio
